Friends of Hartman Creek State Park

Come enjoy Hartman Creek State Park - 1500 acres set in the gentle hills and prairie of central Wisconsin near Waupaca.  A great place for camping, hiking, biking, horseback riding, skiing, geocaching, fishing or many other activities!  Come explore - if you have questions or comments, please let us know on our Facebook page.

  • Ask a Master Naturalist Volunteer!

Do you have a question about something you’ve seen, heard or smelled in the park? Wondering what the small purple flowers are along the Deer Trail? Or if there are glacier erratics in the park? (there are). Now you can ask a Master Naturalist Volunteer! Submit your question here, and each week volunteer master naturalists will answer some of the questions submitted! (Need a quick answer to your question? During the summer, the park naturalist or park staff can answer almost all of your questions – ask at the park office for more info.)
